I don't have any experience but it would be wonderful to rescue a dog. I'd advise on asking about details of its past, if available.

I suppose it depends on the size of your home too. I couldn't have more than one in my tiny apartment.
Cheapish tins but branded kibble. i buy a huge bag once a month and it does him fine. A lot cheaper to buy in bulk, in the long run.
Yes, it would be very expensive to get a dog overseas but it would be worth it for the experience, I guess. Mine wouldn't make it 🙁

I just bite the bullet and take him in when he needs it. He's a long-haired Jack and would never sit for me to do it. Very energetic dog lol.
I live in a tiny apartment, so I need a tiny dog (I have a jack russel). I would have opted for a bigger dog, it just wasn't practical .
