if you found the cure to cancer which is worth $50 trillion dollars would you try to make profit from it even though very few people could afford the treatment or would you give it out for free so almost anyone could get the treatment? Someone else posted a thread about cancer a while ago so that inspired this post. So money or morality?
Most people would be interested in taking advantage of it and sell it to the richest who can afford it. But that's not going to be what I'm going to do. If you have had a family member died of cancer and you have the opportunity to stop it with a cure for other families not to pass through the same thing, I would give it for free.
I will give it out for free. I will be very happy if I am remembered by the solution I gave to the world than the pain I caused them. Yeah, I might feel bad about not getting the profits but I will be fulfilled for rendering help to people.
@frost I agree with what you said. When one finds the cure, the best thing is to provide it free for people who needs it. It will be a way of helping them become better.
This is not a question you will just give a Yes or No answer. You can compromise even when you said you will give it free, there will be times you will need financial support and you won't have it.
My best answer is that it can be yes and no, I can sell to people that are capable of paying for it and then give out to people that I know will not afford it.
