My dog is very affectionate. She is always so happy to see me and when we snuggle, she burrows her head into my side. She loves to cuddle.

If I had to choose between playful and affectionate, I'd have to pick a cuddler any day! I love lively and playful dogs, of course, but I adore getting to spend time petting and spoiling and cuddling with my pets, and it'd break my heart if my pup never wanted to snuggle with me. Ideally, I'd have the best of both worlds, but I wouldn't mind laziness if it came with a lot of love!

My dog is both! He can be the most lazy bastard you've ever seen, literally will just paw at a toy 2 feet from his face so he doesn't have to get up. He can also fall asleep on you at the drop of a dime. On the other hand though, he runs faster than any dog I've ever seen personally and will bounce off the walls if he feels like it.

Puppers can be playful and affectionate at the same time! It just depends on the time of the day for my dogs and I guess they can detect my mood because they're always playful when I'm up for it

I would love to have an affectionate one but nevertheless playful is alright with me. It is because there are times when my dog is lazy but very sweet there are also those times when he is really all jittery and playful.

I didn't saw a dog with that lazy attitude. Every dog are very playful. My dog are very playful one and he always disturb me every time he saw me busy doing something. I think he always remind me that I should always smile even though in my hard times.

My friend swears there are two types of dogs - lively playful dogs, and lazy affectionate dogs. I think there are many different types of dogs and no dogs could be completely typecast into one of those two roles.

But assuming there were genuinely only two dogs which would you choose - playful and lively, or lazy and affectionate?

The question is what would I be doing with a lazy dog no matter how affectionate it is? Such dogs can be a huge mess to have in the house. Some might be too lazy to do anything and this can be very annoying to me no matter how I look at it.

I would always prefer to have a lively and playful dog because such ones are more fun to keep around. They will always aid in getting you in a good mood even if you are feeling bad with their playing habits.

My dog is both playful and also affectionate too. It's why I love having him with me all the time. This is because he makes me very happy all the time with his playful nature.
