Leaving a dog at home specially inside the house is a little bit worried because you do not know what will happen with your things if it will damage because of the dog is playful. It also makes your dog to be lonely if you leave it alone and it is better to have a two or more dogs to play with him.

Back then when I was still working in a company where I have to rendered 8-hours or more to do my work, I have no choice but to leave my 'Sugar' at home but I make sure that she had enough of the food and water to sustain the day. I also ask someone from my neighborhood to watch her from time to time. I think that it's a good idea to have that interactive pet cameras as well if you have the budget. With this you can monitor and interact with them any time of the day.

Sugar is so sweet and just seeing her happily wagging and smiling gives comfort not just to me but my family as well. There might be a time that we have to leave her alone but we make sure that she always get the attention she deserves. She's a part of a family and I know she understands.

My dog is always kind and attached to me I think? Whenever I am about to leave the house due to work, he always cry and always get my attention by making sounds. He is as if telling me not to leave him. He wags his tails whenever I approach him. I pat and comfort him to stop from crying.
As I leave the house, he just sits and quietly looks at me as I go outside the house. This is one of the traits I love about him he is a very well behaved dog.
However when I go home, this is the time when my dog gets aggressive. He jumps on me, wags his tail, and barks at me as if there is no tomorrow and as if we have not met for years. These are some of the reason why, I really love my dog, they are loyal and love me as well.

I don't trust dogs in the house. They're so hyper, they love to play and we all know 1 toy isn't enough for them. They will find things in the house and redecorate you're living room. One time my dogs destroyed my room it was like, there was a tornado while i was gone. When i leave the house i just leave my dogs outside where there is a lot of space.

I can't do that to my dog, specially to Odie, because he will cry if he knows that no one inside the house. I always ask my relatives to look after them if we're in vacation. funny but that's true, and I hate Odie's voice when he cries.

Not funny at all! I believe that they can express their feelings too. THey just do It differently than humans. Odie is one lucky dog! He is happy to have you! 🙂

Hi. I work 8-hour shift every day. I come home all tired and sometimes I don't have enough strength to take him for a walk so we just stay home and play fetch or something that's fun for him. Aris doesn't care, as long as I boost him with lots of attention. We go outside approximately 4 times a week. I know that is not enough but It seems like he is okay with It. What I am interested in is how long do you lave your furry friends alone? And did you ever consider purchasing those interactive pet cameras for monitoring and playing?

Last time I remember that I leave my dog in our house in order to keep the security of it but I left Her some foods to eat! She always cry whenever I prank to leave her and I found a way to keep Her happy. I gave her some wine and after she drinks it, she always running and barking to me. And when I leave our house, I left Her with some food and wine to drink , so that she won't feel lonely anymore.

This is actually one of the main reasons why I haven't gotten a new pet dog again because I would feel bad if I left it alone without anything to keep it busy and stimulated. I have seen some videos online of footage of how dogs act when left alone and some of them are really heartbreaking as they seem so sad and just can't wait until the owners get home. I think I would only be comfortable with leaving dogs at home if there were two of them at least so I'd know they have some company and someone to play with while I was away.

Granted, I work at home most days now but I still would feel bad on the few days that I would have to leave them all alone so I am choosing not to get pets until I get enough resources to at least be able to take care of two of them. I don't judge others for their choices if they are only able to get one as I realize we are all different and have different situations, but I myself just would feel too guilty if that were me.

Some of my dogs have this tendency of tearing papers and scatter them all over the house whenever they were left alone. One time, they got my moms wallet and got those cash in it and tear them all apart. My mom got angry but we ended up laughing it out since my dogs looks so adorable with their guilty looking faces.

It depends on how many hours I'm going to be out of the house that's going to determine if I would leave my dog at home or take him with him. If I'm leaving him at home, he wouldn't be locked in doors but set loose to walk the compound.

I can actually leave my dog home alone but I wouldn't leave for more than a day though.

My dog is very smart. It's very easy for me to leave him all alone at home even for more than 24 hours. Although, I don't do that often. He can get his food and know how not to waste it.

My dog doesn't have any problems with being left at home to look after the house. In fact, he's done a very good job whenever I left him at home for a few hours. He never mess up the rooms. I give him a good treat whenever I get back for being a good boy.

If I'm being very honest, it's usually very difficult for me to leave my dog all alone at home locked in doors. I have done it a couple of times and I never liked it. So, I stopped it. I usually call my cousin to come look after him whenever I'm not at home.

Unfortunately, I don't have a choice in this as I have to go to work every day. They are good and loyal dogs. They can hold the house till I'm back. I give them treats whenever I get back.
