I have always heard about a mad or rabid dog but I haven't had the privilege of encouraging one in person. What are the distinctive features or characters or displays such dogs have that can sell them out quickly so other would know that something is wrong with them?
I haven't encountered any dog that's supposedly mad and I'm not interested in meeting one because I might not be lucky that day. I wouldn't want to have myself bitten by a dog that's not healthy.

This is exactly the same thing with me as well. I wouldn't want to experience that too because there's no way of knowing how it's going to end up for me. If I have my dog with me too, that's going to make matters a bit more complicated.
I haven't seen a mad dog before but I reckon that it's a going to very erratic and would most likely bite people anyhow if it's not gagged.
I think that I have come across one. Why I believe that the dog should be mad is that it keeps barking for hours even when there's no one putting pressure on him.
I hope to never have the experience to witness a mad dog. I'm never going to be comfortable around it because they have the potential of biting me. I'm very sure that they have got rabbies.
I have heard about mad dogs on multiple occasions but I have never had the opportunity to see one in person. I would really like to witness one for myself in order to know how they behave and probably study them.
I have never had a run in with a mad dog. I haven't seen any of them and I don't want to encounter it because it might be dangerous to me in ways that I can't control the outcome.
Yes and this happened about 10 years ago. I was going home from home lesson and I met these little children peeping around a corner and pointing at an object. I don't understand what they are pointing at and because I didn't talk to them and I passed that corner. It wasn't up to some steps and I saw one giant but tattered looking dog running fiercely towards me. The way I threw away my bag and run for my dear life, the children also ran with me.
We were very lucky to see an open house and ran inside, closing the gate behind us. All of us were breathing furiously, no one is ready to talk. After some minutes, the children narrated that the dog was mad and the owner chased it out of the house because of fear that the dog will kill him if care wasn't taken.
