Anyone who is not going to be fully committed to taking care of their pet should never think about getting one for themselves. This is because they will end up not making sure that the animal is in a good condition which is definitely animal abuse. 

I've seen so many human beings that seemed like they were broken from the inside with how they treat their own dogs. It's as if their dogs are what they use to pour out their life frustration. It's so wrong to me. 

The same way human abuse is wrong is how animal abuse is wrong, not just dogs. If you're keeping any animal as pet, they shouldn't be abused in any way, not even by keeping them hungry for any reason whatsoever.
