No, dogs doesn't get into the trash all the. They are well trained and I won't take it easy on them if they get into the trash. I feed them very well, so they shouldn't get into the trash. 

You have to put in much time into training your dog to make it understand that going into the trash is not something that is good. Once you are rewarding your dog for not getting into the trash, he will know that it is not a good habit and it's going to stop it. 

I remember one of our neighbour's dog doing this all the time. He will leave them in his frontage but before he will come out to check on them, one of them would have scattered the trash. He started keeping the trash out of their reach and he had peace.

My trash isn't inside the house. I take everything outside. It's hard for my dogs to make their way into the trash bucket and it's always closed. I would be furious if my dogs get in the trash. 

It's only a stray dog that can enter into the waste and start to eat anything or everything. I don't know if it's how your dog is trained because a good dog don't enter the trash to eat anything in there.

My dog doesn't get into the trash can for any reason whatsoever. They don't eat anything in the trash can. The only trash they jump into is the pile of fallen leaves from the tree in my yard. They play in it.
