Has your dog ever eaten anything while on a walk that made it sick? My daughter's dog had an anaphylactic reaction to something and had to rush her dog to an ER vet. They couldn't figure out what it was, so it's been scary ever since that it could happen again.

Nah, I haven't seen my dog take something from the ground while on walks. I am always careful and conscious of the places we pass and the things she does. Whenever she wants to run very far from me, I will always call her to order.

My dogs are not allowed to eat anything when they are on a walk. They are free to sniff whatever they want to sniff but eating is highly prohibited. It is based on their training and they have perfected it.
