I don't have a dog but I haven't been bitten by dog before. I've witnessed a boy been bitten by a dog and the punishment given to the dog was so severe, making the dog to lie low for some days.

Some dogs attacks result in having the dog put down. I've seen it happen to so many pitbulls. They are killer dogs which I will never like for any reason whatsoever. 

My dog can never bite me. We have been into all manner of playing but he can never resort to put his teeth on me. 

If any dog aggressively bites their own, it means the owner have been abusing the dog for a very long time. It's why I like and respect cats. You can't abuse them and they will keep quiet. They will attack immediately.
