I absolutely I agree with you. It is just awful, its like eating your best friend. Just the thought of it reminds me of the things that has been happening in different parts of the world. The cruelty that dogs have to endure from their masters who was supposed to be their family. And most them do it just for pleasure which is really unjustifable.

I agree with you. Dog meet should never be for eating purposes. There are lots of meat that people can eat. They should spare dogs for dogs are a lovable one.

It's sad to read that some people find pleasure in eating dog meat, I mean how do those people feel eating a meat of a pet that should be a friend to the home. I once had a friend back then that got the act of taking dog meat and I must confess that I had to quit the relationship because every day he visits, my dog is always barking at him and when I noticed he takes dog meat, I quit the relationship.

I have never witnessed people eating dog meat, thank God for that because if I would see such a thing I would become a vegetarian. I cannot understand how people can eat dog meat, there is a thing when you do not know what you are eating but when you know that the plate in front of you contain meat dog and you eat it.....I don't know how they can eat such foods.

Well in some country, eating dog meats is traditional. In our country, although eating dog meats or even just an abuse is punishable by law. There're some exemptions. because there's a tribe in our country, they eat dog meats, but they doing that as a ritual.

I really hate China because of their festival that promotes eating dog meats. I think those guys are out of their mind and no longer a human being. People who eats dog meat should be punished thru guillotine or much worse! Dogs are such a lovable companions. They have proven it for so many times, they can save lives of humans. We should at least value them the way they value us.

For me eating dog meat is disgusting to do specially if you own the dog. If you love your dog as a pet, you do not need to make him as a food. People would always amaze me with the things they get involved with and one of the craziest one I have witnessed is when people see dogs as edible meat. Some part of states in my country Nigeria are very notorious when it comes to consuming dog meat and this hurts me down to my soul.

Yes, I strongly agree with you. I'm from Philippines and there's a lot of that kind of people in our country too. They just didn't care at all for as long as they satisfied their appetite. What's even more painful is that they have to kill the dogs brutally by burning them alive. It angers me the most when they did it for the sake of fun and If I'd be given a chance to impose punishment on them, I would suggest that whatever they did for the dogs will return to them 10 folds or more.

Although I don't and will never eat dog meat, I cannot condemn those people eating dogs especially if it's part of their tradition or culture. There is a dog breed in South Korea being raised for the purpose of eating them just like cattles or pigs. Some also believe that they have medicinal effects. Though if it's my pet, be it a dog or pig or cattle, it would also hurt me.

Dogs are man’s bestfriend. They are very affectionate and loyal pets and must be considered a member of the family. It is really disgusting to know that there are heartless and cruel people who kill and eat dog meat. First of all dogs are not raised to be source of food. Also eating dogs is not healthy and might be dangerous to human. Eating and killing dogs must stopped.

Yeah why even eat dog meat when beef, pork, and poultry are available and are bred specifically for human consumption? I don't think dogs even taste that good. They are human's best friend and we should treat them as such.

Back when I was small and growing up in a province, there is a small village where they eat dogs meat.When having a feast one of their special menus is a dog meat.I still remember how brutally dogs were killed and how they prepared them to be cooked.It's very disgusting and awful.

In some countries dogs are part of their street food i think. In my country some people eat dog meat. I think that's common in countries that don't have enough money to buy food and they just have to survive by eating dog meat, usually they get the stray dogs. But if i were in that situation, i would just eat fruits and vegetables if there are available.
