I have seen some information about a dog breed called the Spaniel. I think it is a large dog and it is very kid friendly. Kids are supposed to go with larger dogs since they have been known to treat smaller dogs as toys and might injure them. The Spaniel has a waterproof coat and this is an adaptation since it is a good swimmer. I would welcome your contribution if you have ever owned this dog or currently own it.

Oh this is one of the breed that I like! I think I used to look at English Spaniel dog online since I wanted one. They are adorable looking and I have heard they are great with children too.
To get a really good one, I can't afford it, but it is one that is on my list.
