I really want to get some fishes for my office but not sure on what type would be good for a complete beginner. I don't want a goldfish, something a little more exotic, maybe.

The only fish I have seen for aesthetics in offices or at home are always the goldfishes. Their body have one kind attraction that they poses for people. I think goldfish is the best for offices and homes.

For a beginner, I'll recommend betta fish or guppies. They’re colourful, interesting, and easier to care for. Just make sure the office tank has proper filtration and regular maintenance.
