How much did it cost you to rescue a dog? Did you have to pay for any of the shots/vaccines and first month's heartworm? Were there any unexpected costs?

It actually depends on a lot of things like your country's location and the dog shelter as well as the sex of the dog.
The last dog that I had rescued, it cost me approximately $350.

Over here you can usually adopt a dog and pay a contribution to the rescue center that you use. All dogs are usually already given their injections and also spayed or neutered as well before they are rehomed as well so that is all sorted when you choose to rehome. Many tend to give a very generous contribution to the rescue center as well.
