Even though I love dogs so much, it's going to be practically impossible for me to keep more than two dogs at the same time.

I wouldn't be able to cope with managing both of them with my job and also family issues. 

I used to think that keeping more than one dog is too much but right now, I wouldn't mind keeping at least 3 dogs. If and when my dog gives birth, I'll keep 3 of the puppies. 

Personally, I don't mind having at least 5 dogs. I can be able to take very good care of them. I wouldn't see them as being too much for me to care for but I'm sure there's one out there who will struggle with taking good care of a single dog.
