Does your dog love or hate holidays? Does he/she detect that there is something extra special going on whenever there is a holiday?
My dog liked having more family over because that meant more cuddles. She especially loved getting a lot of new toys for Christmas!

My dogs are very observant whenever something that's not our usual routine comes up. He knows always. He's always excited whenever there's a holiday and celebration because he knows that there's going to be more food and treats.

I doubt if my dog knows any difference about holidays. The only thing I'm very sure he knows is that there are days he gets to eat more than the usual and get more gifts.
