Our pet shop has been selling dog-safe Easter eggs for weeks, and I keep wondering about whether to get one (or two, to prevent squabbles). In the event I've opted for steak as their Easter treat instead, which I'm pretty sure was the preferred choice, judging from the way two pairs of eyes followed the bag in and looked crestfallen when it vanished into the fridge, and not immediately onto their plates. (It's only two days you two, stop pestering me!)
It is also partly because I didn't want to risk a visitor confusing a normal easter egg for a dog-safe one and giving one of ours chocolate. So how are these dog-safe treats for dogs? Do dogs like them, or are they more for the owners?
