Greetings everyone.

Let me start with a CAVEAT. We do not yet have a dog. My lovely wife has what we perhaps not-so delightfully think of as intermittent allergy issues, which means that she sometimes has allergic reactions to certain animals, and sometimes she doesn't. That being said, we both love dogs (and cats, but they're right out due to her allergies) and will be at some point in the future welcoming a furry bundle of responsibility and joy into our home.

So my purpose for being here isn't just for the adorable dog pics, but also to learn the dos and don'ts of dogs. That means that periodically, I'm going to be throwing some questions out and maybe some time after we get a dog, adding a few of my anecdotes here and there.
