Greetings!

I've spent the last 10 years as a home-schooling single parent and stay-at-home-dad. Sadly (and gloriously!) my daughter has recently headed off into the world to make her own life. While I'm proud, excited, and scared(!) for here, I now find my home to be FAR too quiet for comfort. Thus, I'm seriously considering finding a new canine companion to help fill the silence and listen to me ramble on telling the same stories I've told my daughter a hundred times in the last decade.

So, that's why I'm here. To get to know all of you (and your pups) and hopefully gain some insight into just who I'll be welcoming into my home in the near future. Looking forward to poking around these forums and seeing what y'all have to share.
