Their diet should consist of 80% Timothy Hay, 10% pellets (please choose a good brand that is not too sugary, I use timothy based ones for my bunny) and 10% fruits and vegetables.
Vegetables such as broccoli, brussel sprouts, cabbage, cauliflower, and kale are a good idea. Avoid giving them carrots as it is too sugary and should only be given as a treat.
My bunny likes cilantro and mint, so I try and include that in a mix of spinach.

This is pretty much what mine looks like now. Except I don't want anyone thinking I'm raising a tiny psycopath. She bites everything. I've had her checked at the vet and nothing was wrong. I used to have a couple. I have now placed her hubby in a separate cage because she bites him! She bit him so hard he bled, I had to instantly take him out and first aid it. Strange enough both hamsters, when played with separately, are cuddly. They allow you to hand feed them and they will both hop into your hand.

Anyone know of anyway to introduce them little by little so that they will like each other? :(

They weren't technically mine but my little brother got a couple pet crabs. They were the little one you can get at Walmart about the size of a quarter. He wanted them after he found out he was a Cancer. They were cool to begin with as they scuttled across the bottom of the sand. The creepy factor came when they would climb and hang upside-down on the cover of the tank. After a couple of days of dealing with them crawling everywhere and my family collectively realized that crabs are basically aquatic spiders. We haven't got pet crabs again.

Since then I've heard stories of people who got crabs as pets, and had them escape. Then when they were moving out of their apartment, found the crab alive and happy three years later. The more stories I hear of escapees, the more they creep me out.

Have you ever had a pet that became creepy or was creepy?

When I was younger, I was given a rat to take care of because her owner was going out of the country for a while. I would never have guessed that I would have gotten so attached to her, but I did. She would crawl all over my bed when I let her out for some play time. I would let her crawl around on my shoulders and she would sniff around my face and ears. Then she would curl up under my hair at the nape of my neck and fall asleep. Rats do not live very long though and she ended up getting cancer so I had her put to sleep.

So does anyone else have or have had any odd pets?
