My fish isn't growing well?

I have noticed that my fish is quite smaller than it's supposed to have grown and I don't know what's wrong it which is making it to have stunted growth or delayed growth. I feel it very well and change water for it twice in a week.

What could be the problem?

My father taught me how to fish when I was still a kid. He always took me along in all his fishing trips. I can remember the first fish I caught and I so much wanted to keep it. It was a cat fish but it was meant to be eaten.

I really want to get some fishes for my office but not sure on what type would be good for a complete beginner. I don't want a goldfish, something a little more exotic, maybe.

Has anyone here tried aquaponics for their fish? I want to try a set up where my goldfish poop is cleaned by plants so I don't have to replace the filter so much. Have any advice?

I don't know what it is, but I just can't seem to keep a fish alive longer than a month. I follow a very strict routine in preparing for the fish and taking care of the fish. I use the tap water conditioner so the water is good for the fish and I never over or under feed them. I also use a siphon some of the water and change the water once a week. Any ideas to help me keep my fish alive longer?

Hardest and Easiest Fish to Take Care Off

I think the hardest fish to take care of was my fan tailed goldfish, I killed like eighteen of them in six days. They produced way to much ammonia for the system I had and I didn't know it. So, I can't keep goldfish to save my life. The easiest fish I had were angelfish and sharks, which lasted for a couple years. The second one I had good luck with was beta fish. They were surprisingly hardy despite attacking the window every time someone or something approached. So what was the hardest and easiest fish you've had as pets?

Indoor pond

I have two large dogs and decided to set up a 100 gallon indoor pond. That is basically like a raised planter but with water and goldfish in it. I was kind of worried I would not be able to keep the dogs out of it. But after 6 months so far they have stayed out of it and not bothered the fish. The only possible issue is that they do prefer to drink that water over their water bowl. But there seem to be no ill effects and nothing in there should be dangerous to them. I have two comets and two shunbunkin goldfish. Does anyone else have dogs and fish?
