Yesterday was Pipoy's 4th birthday. As per our tradition, we celebrate our dog's birthday even in a little way. Aside from the food for humans which we also shared with our dogs, Pipoy had a cake and with a candle too. And the celebration is not complete without the singing of the birthday song that we captured in video. And naturally the pictorial follows. We also brought food to our neighbor who gave us Pipoy. The moment Pipoy was born, we got a text from that neighbor offering us 1 of the 6 puppies that their female pug had. Here is Pipoy's cake with the candle.

Today I got a new tiny puppy from one of the kids that I worked with a few years ago when I was a teacher's aide. She is the cutest little thing. She is half Dachsund and half Party Pom. I saw her parents and I know she is going to be a tiny little girl even once she is full grown. We are so totally in love already. We have named her Piper Ann. Here are some pics of my daughter holding her. <3

So I've noticed that a lot of users here have purebred dogs. Here's a post where we can share pictures of our precious mutts! If you have purebreds and want to share a picture, that's okay, I mean, who doesn't love to look at dog pictures?! I had 3 dogs, I now have 2. The one we had to get rid of (wasn't safe for my daughter) was a beautiful, and sweet deaf pit-bull, boxer mix named Lola. The larger, brown dog is Jaxx. He is an English bulldog, beagle mix that we got when he was 3 months old. We like to call him our whale. :p The smaller black and white dog is Axel. He's a sweet French bulldog, beagle mix. He's a huge mama's boy, and loves to be around my daughter. We got him when he was 3 months old as well. It's amazing to see the size difference in Jaxx and Axel when their breeds are so similar, and their age is so close; they're only 1 month apart!

May I introduce my 3 dogs with their own idiosyncrasy. At right is Tisoy, the mixed spitz and pomeranian who is 8 years old. He is the tamest of them all. That small white looking asleep is Barbie, the mixed pekingese who is the youngest at 3 years and the bully. In cage is Pipoy, the 3-year old male pug who is autistic. That is the reason why he is in a cage because he is so hyperactive.

Also in photo is our housemaid who takes care of my 3 dogs.
