How often do you take your dog for grooming?

I'm having a hard time with knowing how often I should be taking my dog for grooming. It seems like he enjoys it whenever are done with it but I don't know if too much of it will have any effects on him.

What do you guys think my friends?

Under the heater

Groomers put the dogs under a heater or dryer to keep them warm and to finish drying their fur after shampooing. Some groomers leave the dogs in there too long. Did that ever happen to yours?

Once my dog came home super thirsty and I had no idea why. It occurred to me later that they probably kept her in the dryer too long.

Razors for home grooming

What kind of razor do you use for home grooming?

I bought a cheap one from Amazon and it really worked well! I locked my dog in the small bathroom with me and held onto her to make her comfortable and she let me shave her hair. It saved me a lot of money and helped with her nervousness. Going to the groomers was always a stressful time for her.

Regular nail file for dogs claws?

With the lockdown hanging over our heads we haven't been able to get Dexter the Magic Dog to the groomers. Every time we try and cut his hair going over his eyes he goes nuts; wakes up if he's asleep too. Any tricks for this?

Everyday I take care of my pitbull. Routine starts with breakfast then we have our morning walk and after 2pm I always take him to bath. I brush his hair and change his clothe. I make sure he's feeling well being every single day.

Hi guys, i use tap water when bathing my dog. I notice that sometimes my dog shivers a lot during bathing. Is that normal? Do water temperature affects our dogs during bathing? If so what is the ideal water temperature for our dogs? Your comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I am not aware whether there are professional pet groomers and if there aren't, there is need for them. It requires skill and a loving hand to groom the dog comfortably and satisfactorily. Is there certification for professional pet groomers and would you engage the services of one?
